Media Information
The Center for Aging Services Technologies (CAST) is a major new initiative
bringing together researchers from universities, technology companies, facility
administrators and government representatives. CAST is a program of the
American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging.
Overview
CAST focuses on the application of technology and the policy issues that
impacting how technology is utilized to provide aging services. For example,
initial policy discussions may deal with issues such as reimbursement, privacy
and different types of liability implications. CAST will drive technology
solutions and play a critical role in bringing together researchers and
providers.
