- What are Online Communities?
- In the online communities, you can engage in discussion with your peers about topics of interest. While our content guidelines still apply, this is more of a free-form area designed for back and forth dialogue.
- How do I edit my profile and view my submissions?
- When you are logged in, your profile and options to review your submissions will appear in the left hand area of the navigation page.
- I created a submission, but don't see it yet.
- All submissions are held for review before they are pushed out to the publicaly viewable area of the website. You can review and edit your submission from the Home page while you are logged in at any time. However a Clearinghouse volunteer will physically review your post prior to making is publicly viewable to others.
- What is a submission rating?
- We encourage our viewers to let other readers know what they perceived as helpful. When you rate an item, you're rating the usefulness of the content in the submission, not the actual product or project being described.
- What is a Deactivation Date?
- Your content will automatically expire 1 year from the date it was last updated.
At this time, your content may come up in a search, but will no longer appear in the "browse" pages. Deactivated content will contain an indication that it is "archived".
The way to avoid this happening is to come back and update your content on a regular basis. We keep this mechanism in place to keep our content fresh and new.
